The 2018 midterm elections are just a few days away and if you have any questions about the races in your state, feel free to just ask Alexa.

The intelligent digital assistant can now provide users with information before the election but will also give real-time election results and post-election outcomes after Nov. 6.

Amazon announced this new feature in a blog post on Wednesday.

"Customers asked Alexa millions of questions during the 2016 presidential election and we’ve taken learnings to evolve and expand our elections experience for the midterms," said Bill Barton, vice president of Alexa information for Amazon.

Alexa, of course, won't know everything on her own, so she'll be tapping into the Associated Press and Ballotopedia so she can answer things like, "Alexa, what’s on my ballot?" and "Alexa, who is winning in [state]?"

Alexa's AI systems can't handle every question, however. She can tell you straight away if you ask, "Alexa, when are the polls open?" But if you ask Alexa where the nearest polling place is, you'll get local business results from Yelp.

She won't tell you which candidates to vote for either. Amazon has made sure Alexa has no official or unofficial party affiliation.
