Parking yourself is so 2015.
Where do you park your self-driving car? In a self-parking garage, of course. This robot valet saves time and space, and prevents a few fender benders.
Horizontal and vertical shuttles gently move vehicles into their parking spaces. There are two to three times as many parking spaces than in a traditional parking garage, as there isn't a need to accommodate space for human drivers to maneuver around.
"The system always analyzes and calculates the fastest route to take your car, so it's very dynamic," said Yair Goldberg, CEO of Unitronics. "At the end of every movement, it's recalculating the route out."
