The prevalence of data breaches in the public sector have made it clear that the cybersecurity model government agencies have long operated under is insufficient.

One alternative is a strategy experts refer to as Zero Trust, in which safeguards are applied wherever data resides, not just at the network perimeter. With an ever-growing list of devices connected to their networks, are agencies taking steps to implement such an approach?

To find out, Government Business Council (GBC) polled a random sample of 139 defense and federal respondents in July and August of 2019.
