The Defense Department is inviting “innovative” companies to present their products to government this summer.

The Pentagon wants tech companies to demo their cyber products to officials this summer.

The Defense Department is inviting some companies to make technical product presentations on capabilities including malware detection, insider threat mitigation, and using artificial intelligence in cyber analytics.

Some products could be used in pilot projects or experiments, according to a DOD posting.

Other interest areas include, according to the solicitation:

  • Behavior and pattern recognition
  • Monitoring wireless spectrum
  • Situational awareness for control systems
  • Internet of Things security
  • Low-power encryption
  • Discovery and isolation of malicious activity
  • Cyberattack simulations
  • Data loss prevention
  • Cloud-based analytics
  • Autonomous reasoning

Companies can apply to participate in the cyber “Solutions Meeting” until mid-April.
