“The Center for New Media is sorry to see our awesome founder, Bev Godwin, leave for another position at GSA,” reads a Jan. 3 tweet from the center.

It also manages the National Contact Center which handles e-mail and Web chat services to the public and distributing  federal print publications for consumers.

The information center is in the GSA's Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies, headed by David McClure.

The former director of the center was Teresa Nasif, according to GSA's website.  Details on her current status were not immediately available.
