ODNI CIO to step down

The country's first CIO for the intelligence community will end his federal service in September.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s chief information officer will be ending his government career at the end of September, the agency has said.

Dale Meyerrose, associate director of national intelligence, was the intelligence community's first CIO.

In a statement, ODNI praised him for improving information sharing and being a “forceful change agent in carrying out the information sharing and enterprise architecture mandates” of the sweeping intelligence reform law of 2004.
