CSC exec goes to Crown

Steve Kalish, who retired this spring from Computer Sciences Corp., has been named president of Crown Consulting Inc. in Washington, D.C.

Kalish, who had been president of the federal sector information technology and science solutions division at CSC, was replaced there by Tom Anderson. At Crown, he will help solidify business at the Federal Aviation Administration, and develop new aviation-related business in the federal and private sectors, said Al Khan, chief executive officer of Crown. Kalish worked closely with the FAA while serving as vice president of CSC's Transportation Systems Center, Khan said.

Kalish had also served at CSC as president of the civil group in the federal sector.

"We are indeed fortunate to enlist a highly respected professional who not only has made his mark at the FAA, but also is recognized for strengthening the systems and technologies that serve a host of other agencies," Khan said in announcing Kalish's appointment. "Steve brings the capacity and passion to build and strengthen processes and methods by which we pursue and conduct business."
