Emery to be Homeland Security deputy CIO
Mark Emery, acting deputy CIO at the Transportation Security Administration, will be named to the same position at DHS soon, say industry sources.
Mark Emery, the acting deputy chief information officer of the Transportation Security Administration, will soon be named the deputy chief information officer at the Homeland Security Department, according to industry sources.
CIO Steve Cooper has been without a deputy since Laura Callahan was placed on administrative leave last June, after it was disclosed that she had obtained her academic credentials from a so-called diploma mill.
