Army signs BPA with InterNetwork

The company will sell wireless equipment and related services under the blanket purchase agreement.

The U.S. Army has signed a blanket purchase agreement with InterNetwork Experts Inc., to supply wireless network equipment and related engineering, implementation and support services.

Under the agreement, InterNetwork will supply the products and services to the Army's Network Enterprise Technology Command. InterNetwork uses Cisco Systems Inc. hardware to build networks.

The signing marks a success in InterNetwork's effort to establish itself as a preferred provider for the federal government, said David Peoples, vice president of the company's federal division. The company received a General Services Administration schedule contract in February, another important step.

Both arrangements are open-ended vehicles the Army can use to buy products and services as it needs them.
