*** Hack the Army 3.0 is set to launch on Dec. 14, 2020 and will run through Jan. 28, 2021 or until funds for bug bounties run out. The effort brings together U.S. Army Cyber, the Defense Digital Service and the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command.

*** Michael Ellis, a former chief council to Rep. Devin Nunes (D-Calif.), was selected for post of general counsel at the National Security Agency over the objections of Gen. Paul Nakasone, the Washington Post reported. The NSA's top lawyer is a civil service position and is typically held by a career public servant.

*** Nominations for the 2021 Fed 100 are now being accepted. The deadline for submissions is Dec. 31.
