*** FBI Director Christopher Wray named Dean Phillips to the assistant director position for IT Infrastructure Division on March 27. The Infrastructure Division which one of three departments in the agency's Information and Technology Branch. The other two are the IT Enterprise Services Division and the IT Applications and Data Division. Phillips was most recently a special agent in charge of its Denver Field Office.
*** The American Federation of Government Employees and its National Veterans Affairs Council are suing the Federal Labor Relations Authority, alleging the agency broke the law when appointing members to the Federal Service Impasses Panel. AFGE alleges that recent appointments to the FSIP failed to pass this neutrality test and many were not trained in mediating federal labor-management disputes, which the panel oversees.
