With six months to go, Rockefeller urges D-block allocation

West Virginia Democrat Sen. Jay Rockefeller urged his colleagues March 10 to support his plan for a nationwide interoperable public safety communications network. The plan would allocate spectrum space to such a network. Rockefeller wants the plan passed before the tenth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
