Justice, agencies get mixed reviews on FOIA

Despite the creation of new policies on FOIA and public information, the 2011 Knight Foundation Open Government Survey of 90 agencies showed mixed progress on government transparency in the Obama administration. The survey team asked for concrete FOIA policy changes and found that 41 of 90 agencies did not have concrete plans.
