Metering helps federal labs track, lower energy use

Building 110 at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention outside Atlanta is an unusual laboratory. Not just a place for experiments, the building itself is an ongoing experiment in whether energy-intensive laboratories can reduce their environmental impact by measuring emissions.
