Bushfire maps go high-tech

Nearly two years after Black Saturday, Victoria's firefighters are finally moving into the computer age in a bid to save lives this summer. In response to the Bushfires Royal Commission, Premier John Brumby yesterday announced a $21.5 million upgrade to computer mapping of fires.
