USCIS expands the E-Verify toolbox

Since E-Verify was launched in 2007, the program has caught on, not without some controversy. Since September, 2009, employers with federal contracts or subcontracts that contain the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) E-Verify clause are required to use the program. Since Oct. 1, 2009, E-Verify has processed more than six million queries.
