Army putting up $30,000 prizes for apps

The Army is putting $30,000 in prize money out there for the best and most innovative ideas to improve its services. The service will kick off the Apps for the Army competition March 1 asking personnel-- active duty, Army Reserve and Army National Guard on active duty, and civilians--to create applications to improve current capabilities or address new challenges.
