Dell secures $42 million Army contract

Dell Perot Systems was awarded a $42 million, five-year contract to provide services to the U.S. Army Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois, officials said today. Dell Perot's Virginia-based government services business unit, which was acquired in November by Round Rock-based Dell Inc., will provide command, control, communications, computer and information management services.
