For telework and COOP, GSA leads the way

At a time when the H1N1 virus threatens to send tens of thousands to their sickbeds at the same time with the so-called "swine flu", officials who are trying to keep the government up and running are trying to make sure their backup plans are in order. And a new report suggests that while telework may offer a lifeboat when it comes to continuity of operations planning in the event of a swine flu pandemic, many federal agencies are not yet prepared to implement teleworking as part of their contingency preparations.
