Representatives from the Patent and Trademark Office, the Defense Information Systems Agency, the Virginia state government and Cisco each provided advice on the keys to a successful telework program, including how to measure its effectiveness.
Common themes included creating solid performance management practices, facilitating ongoing and effective communication, ensuring IT security, providing training to supervisors and employees, and measuring the results of participation and productivity.
