Defense employees irate over travel system
Federal Times
Just 22 percent of Defense Travel System users are happy with the problem-plagued $500 million system, according to a new user satisfaction poll obtained by Federal Times. Their complaints largely mirror the findings of previous surveys and polls conducted by the Defense Department and private contractors. Nearly three-quarters of DTS users said the system isn't accessible; two-thirds said it wasn't easy to understand or navigate. And more than 50 percent of users said they weren't satisfied with the customer service they received from the Defense Travel Management Office, which oversees the system.
