SSA data backup still 6 months away

The Social Security Administration has no way to back up its data, and it's still six months away from bringing its initial backup online. That means the information on every adult citizen for retirement or more 3 million disability applications SSA receives annually or the largest warehouse of medical records in the country the administration stores are not protected if someone or something happens to their current data center. And that data center is old and in desperate need of upgrade.
