Obama details recovery plan but short on broadband goals

While President Obama's proposed $825 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan will renovate and modernize 10,000 schools, creating "state-of-the-art classrooms, libraries, and labs" for 5 million pupils, and hopefully spur students on to careers in science by tripling the number of undergraduates and graduates studying in this area, he didn't mention any concrete goals on his broadband initiative. In fact, supporting documentation for the plan issued by the White House failed to mention the word "broadband" even once.
