Deloitte sues to block IBM's $193 million HUD contract

Tech and business services contractor Deloitte Consulting has filed a lawsuit against the United States in an effort to block the government's award of a lucrative IT contract to rival IBM. The Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded IBM a ten-year, $193 million contract to modernize the agency's computerized financial systems. Deloitte claims it was not fairly treated in the selection process.
