CNN and Facebook make Obama inauguration a social event

CNN and Facebook want to turn Inauguration Day into a real-time social-networking event via CNN.com Live, the news channel's multi-stream live video service. On Jan. 20, folks who use CNN.com Live to watch Barack Obama get sworn in as the nation's president can update their Facebook status right from the CNN.com Live player, where they will also be able to see status updates from their friends and other Facebook users, CNN says.
