Ferguson police personal data hacked by hacktivists

It’s not clear how much information was compromised, but the incident is one reason why police responding to the upheaval in Ferguson aren’t displaying names on uniforms.

The FBI is investigating assaults on personal computers and accounts of individual officers.

The attackers responsible are believed to be affiliated with the hacktivist collective Anonymous.
