RSA and Booz Allen Hamilton partner for cyber incidence response

Security firms RSA and Booz Allen Hamilton are partnering to offer agencies and companies support and consulting services for responding to computer attacks, the companies announced Wednesday.

The goal of the joint venture is to shorten the time it takes to identify threats and fix compromised systems. The arrangement will evaluate how to roll out a tool developed by Booz Allen Hamilton that detects malware.

The partnership is one step in improving collaboration and access to information needed to counter threats, Mike McConnell, vice chairman of Booz Allen Hamilton and former director of the National Security Agency said in a released statement.

The deal was announced at RSA’s second Advanced Threats Summit in Washington, D.C.
