The contract will help the agency streamline financial elements of its missions, programs and projects.

NASA awarded Aeyon joint venture MM Technologies an up to $516.9 million contract to modernize the agency’s financial management system.

Specifically, the company was awarded the NASA Financial Support Services contract, which is a performance-based single-award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract.

Pursuant to the contract, Aeyon—which offers “digital transformation services” such as robotic process automation—will provide financial management consulting services to NASA for its missions, programs and projects, including to seven out of its ten space and research centers.

According to NASA this work includes, “resource/financial management, accounting, quality assurance services, travel and conference administration, financial management business information services, and special financial analyses.”

The contract—which began on Dec. 1—is part of a multi-year initiative to streamline the agency’s product service line procurements. It has a 90-day phase-in period, a two-year base period and three two-year option periods.
