HUD CIO seeks help with IT investment system

The Housing and Urban Development Department asks small-business contractors to bid on supporting HUD's IT Investment Management system.

HUD’s Office of the Chief Procurement Officer published a updated May 7 on the Federal Business Opportunities Web site on behalf of the department’s Office of the Chief Information Officer. Proposals are due May 14. According to the statement of work published April 28, the IT management system reduces risk and minimizes life-cycle costs of IT investments. The process is linked with acquisition and budget processes and enterprise architecture.

The Housing and Urban Development Department wants a small-business vendor to help support its Information Technology Investment Management Program, including help with processes, government, management, project management and performance management.

The proposed contract‘s period of performance is for one base year with four one-year options, and the vendor will fulfill more than two dozen tasks to help support about 175 IT programs at the department.
