Rep. Hall announces his staff

Rep. Ralph Hall (R-Texas), ranking member on the House Committee on Science and Technology, today announced his staff for the 110th Congress.

Heading up the staff will be Janet Poppleton, who also continues as Hall's chief of staff, a position she has held since 1996. Poppleton was Hall's press secretary from 1993 to 1996.

Leslee Gilbert was named staff director. She began her Hill career in 2003 as a speechwriter for Hall and advanced to legislative director in 2005.

Ed Feddeman and Ken Monroe will handle issues related to the committee's Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee.

Tom Hammond will be responsible for issues related to the new Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.

Amy Carroll will oversee issues related to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Melé Williams will be responsbile for issues dealing with the committee's Research and Science Education Subcommittee.

Elizabeth Stack will be handling the Energy portfolio. Stack is a senior policy adviser to Hall on energy issues and policy coordinator for the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality.

Handling technology issues will be Tind 'Shep' Ryen and Piper Largent.
