Former Army deputy CIO joins Input's consulting group

Dave Borland will join a team that guides companies in improving their government business.

Dave Borland, a former Army deputy chief information officer, has joined Input's consulting group. At Input, he will bring his expertise and experience to the group's mission, which is to show companies how to increase their government business.

“David’s first-hand agency insights and more than 30 years of experience in information systems technology and contracting make him an ideal addition to the INPUT Consulting Group,” said Alan Balutis, president and chief executive officer of government strategies at Input, in a written statement.

Borland worked for 32 years in government, serving in both procurement and management positions. He retired as Army deputy CIO in 2004 to pursue a career in information technology consulting.
