Justice contract heats up for SRA

Integrator to provide systems development, maintenance for Office of Justice Programs.

SRA International has won a new $80 million task order under the Justice Department’s Information Technology Support Services-3 contract.

Kathleen Adams, SRA’s senior vice president and civil-sector director, said the award is the largest the company has received under the multiple-award ITSS-3 program. That contact vehicle was awarded in October 2004. Prior to that, SRA had not done much work for Justice, she said.

Earlier this year, SRA won a $24.6 million task order for database management systems and services under the contract.

The new task order requires SRA to provide systems development, maintenance and integration services to the Office of Justice Programs. SRA will support systems including the Grants Management System and the Integrated Financial Management Information System. SRA's partners on the task order include Digital Systems Group, High Performance Technologies, Paradigm Solutions, REI Systems, V-Concepts and Vistronix.

Adams said the ITSS-3 vehicle provides rapid turnaround time on bids, with awards made in a week or two. On ITSS-3, Justice issues work plan requests that contract holders may bid on. Thus far, the department has issued 52 requests of various sizes, according to SRA officials.
