The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is open to different approaches, whether they be a complete offering or component-level offerings that can be assembled together.
The federal government’s office for overseeing all U.S. intelligence activities has embarked on a new search for technology to help it better understand the overall economic landscape, including foreign investment and supply chain developments.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is eyeing a new data platform to help it better ingest economic and financial data from multiple sources, either through a complete offering or component-level offerings that can be assembled together.
ODNI launched this new market research effort on Monday through its Office of Economic Security and Emerging Technologies, which is also looking to automation as a way for tying different records to the same company or entity.
ODNI envisions the platform as focusing on the collection, organization and correlation of unclassified datasets such as commercially-available and publicly-available information.
The request for information describes how following the rollout, the platform should function as the U.S. government’s primary reference point for helping agencies in the intelligence community and select other areas contribute to overall economic security objectives.
Data management and integration, automated entity resolution, and bulk access to the data via application programming interfaces are ODNI’s primary goals
Contractors interested in this requirement can respond by filling out a matrix accompanying the RFI spelling out capabilities they have to offer, as well as writing a 15-page submission detailing their approaches and ideas for ODNI.
Responses to the RFI are due by 5 p.m. Eastern time on Nov. 16.
