The General Services Administration is accepting bids on Satcom-II, a new contract that will replace the existing GSA Satellite Services program. Proposals are due by March 14.

The contract will provide a range of satellite services, including fixed and mobile satellite transport services, applications, engineering and operational maintenance support. It will also provide professional support services, a category set aside for small businesses.

The contract is structured to let agencies work directly with suppliers on orders and billing, and also to allow providers to add new technologies to the contract as they become available.
