*** NASA is looking for a smartphone app that would not only allow its 18,000 employees to display their vaccination status when entering a NASA facility, but also help the space agency efficiently survey, report and analyze data on the immunization status its workforce. *** Sen. Maggie Hassan, chair of the Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Spending Oversight of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, will convene a hearing Sept. 28 to discuss ways to replace legacy IT. Federal CIO Clare Martorana, U.S. Digital Service Administrator Mina Hsiang and Technology Transformation Services Director David Zvenyach are scheduled to testify.

*** The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency released guidance on the governmentwide deployment of IPv6 in the context of the Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) 3.0 security strategy which is designed to make it easy and secure for federal agency networks to accommodate cloud and other managed services connections. Comments are open on the guidance through October 15.
