*** The Department of Defense plans to spend $38.6 billion on IT in fiscal year 2022, according to updated information on the federal IT dashboard. That's an 8% increase over the previous year. Spending is divided between $32.2 billion on non-major IT projects and $6.5 billion on major IT projects.
*** Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) postponed a vote planned for Tuesday on the nomination of Kiran Ajuha to serve as director of the Office of Personnel Management because some Democrats members were absent and the vote would have likely failed.
