Michigan starts seed fund for collaborative IT projects

Michigan's state legislature has approved a $2.5 million dollar 'innovation fund' as part of the state's 2012 budget. The fund, overseen by a five-person board, will be used to sponsor technology projects that normally would be overlooked.
