In an article on ThePublicManager.org, Transportation Department CIO Daniel Mintz says Web 2.0 will continue to have a major effect on the interaction between citizens and government, probably in ways that we can only imagine today.

"[W]hat Government 2.0 will ultimately become and how it will affect government is only dimly understood today," Mintz wrote. "It is likely to have a major impact on how government services are delivered, how government is organized, and ultimately how it relates to and with the American public."
