FlipSide: Election season heats up

It has been noted that the presidential election season started unusually early. In the government IT community, a big election is already under way. It’s the election for the Industry Advisory Council’s Executive Committee.During IAC’s membership meeting last week, there was an all-out, get-the-vote effort. Here are the candidates.For IAC’s executive vice chair:For the four at-large vice chair positions:The person elected to the executive vice chair post will serve a two-year term beginning July 1. On July 1, 2008, that person will become the new IAC chair.Voting takes place on IAC’s Web site through the end of the month.
