The Delaware Year 2000 Contingency Planning and Coordinating Council is conducting information sessions across the state until year's end to help state residents learn more about the Year 2000 problem and its potential impact.
The Delaware council will hold the two-hour meetings to help residents learn what federal, state and local government agencies and other service providers are doing to correct the problem and what individuals can do to reduce any potential problems stemming from the date change. Three meetings per month are planned until year's end in different counties across the state.
More Year 2000 information, including the dates and locations of the events, is available online at www.state.de.us/ois/y2000/mgmt_toc.htm#calendar.
