CSC Wins Aussie Defense Health IT Job

Computer Sciences Corp won a $56 million contract yesterday to develop an electronic health record system for the Australian Department of Defence.

CSC will build the Australian system around a Web-based electronic health record from EMIS Group PLC of the UK.

The U.S. Military Health System sure could use a Web-based electronic health record to replace its current AHLTA clunker, and I wonder if CSC plans to bid EMIS software for the next generation MHS deal.
