Burger King whopped by twitter hamburgle

Food and Beverage // Social Media

Hackers take to the official "verified" Burger King Twitter feed to prank followers with news of a sale to McDonald's -- tweeting they took action "because the whopper flopped." The actual McDonald's quickly replied with a tweet it had nothing to do with the incident. Antivirus firm Sophos says:"This is another example of why Twitter needs to introduce two factor authentication as soon as possible."
