Cisco Systems

Stewart is the leading cybersecurity expert at Cisco, where he oversees a team of 250 employees who develop security practices, policies and processes.

Stewart is at the center of Cisco’s strategic cybersecurity outreach and served on the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th Presidency. Among other things, the commission concluded that the security of the nation’s cyber infrastructure requires a strategy directed from the White House.

“Stewart consistently brought strategic perspectives that steered the commission in productive directions,” said Bruce McConnell, counselor to the deputy undersecretary of the Homeland Security Department’s National Protection and Programs Directorate. “His experience, insight and clarity of thought [are] invaluable.”
