GreenGov Challenge

The new GreenGov challenge is running in coordination with National Energy Awareness Month, and any federal employee or military member can submit a clean energy idea from Oct. 19 through Oct. 31.

Some of the top ideas will be presented in November to the Steering Committee on Federal Sustainability -- a group comprised of a senior official from each agency who is responsible for delivering each agency's sustainability plan, the White House said.
I'm sure some ideas will involve tech-savvy approaches to improving the federal workforce, including how it can better utilize telework and Web 2.0 initiatives to cut commutes and travel while not diminishing collaboration among workers.
