This is the General Services Administration's 17th agreement signed for enterprise-level pricing to all federal agencies.
The General Services Administration has signed a OneGov agreement with Tenable that offers steep discounts on some of the company’s cloud security offerings.
The agreement is the 17th OneGov pact GSA has signed with software manufacturers to bring volume discount pricing to all government buyers.
In the Tenable agreement, the company is offering agencies a 65% discount off its list price for its FedRAMP-authorized Tenable Cloud Security Enterprise. Agencies can access the discounts through Tenable’s GSA schedule, which is held by Carahsoft, a value-added reseller.
“This agreement with Tenable will enable federal agencies to secure their networks and data more easily and cost effectively,” Josh Gruenbaum, commissioner of GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service, said in a release Thursday.
Cybersecurity is critical to national security because of the government’s shift to the cloud, Tenable’s co-CEO Steve Vintz added.
“With our FedRAMP-authorized cloud security solution, Tenable is proud to help federal agencies stay ahead of evolving threats, strengthen resilience, and secure the cloud-first future of government as part of a holistic approach to exposure management,” he said.
Agencies have until March 31, 2027 to buy through the agreement. They can also sign two option years, but then the discount decreases by 3%. Meaning the discount will be 62% in years two and three.
