Fed 100 deadline extended to Jan. 14, 2026

Staff

There is still time to get nominations in for the people that went above and beyond in federal IT this past year.

Forgot to write your nominations for top IT performers in government this year? We're extending the deadline to submit Federal 100 nominations into 2026. Our final, no-extensions deadline is Jan. 14, 2026.

This gives you an extra two weeks to finalize your nominations to make sure the superstars in the federal IT community get the recognition they deserve.

Anyone in the federal IT community is eligible: career civil servants, political appointees, contractors, academics, members of Congress and congressional staff. The awards are for individual accomplishments in the 2025 calendar year. Winners go above and beyond, whatever their level or rank — just doing one’s job well is not enough. Impact matters. Tell us what a nominee did and what that work accomplished. You can submit multiple nominations. Please do so early and often.

The final deadline for submissions is Jan. 14 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Have a Happy New Year, and — if you haven't already — get started on your nominations today!
