GSA seeks budget protection for new technologies

The General Services Administration wants to set aside some of its fiscal 2011 budget to test emerging technologies in areas like building management and information technology. "It is all about new ideas," said Acting GSA Administrator Paul Prouty in a Nov. 4 address to the Coalition for Government Procurement, a trade association that represents GSA vendors.
