In his first year on the job, Ambrose revamped the way IT and biometric services are planned, developed and delivered to stakeholders of DHS' U.S. Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology program, one of the largest biometric databases in the world. His vision and leadership infused energy into his team and enabled DHS to attract and hire more than two dozen technologists for the effort. Ambrose transformed his organization's culture to be more results-oriented and allowed the government to become the integrator for the IT services provided by US-VISIT.
