'Gremlin' Sensor Will Find Bombs by Vibrating the Ground

The Office of Naval Research is developing the GREMLIN system which will use sound to vibrate the ground, allowing military explosive experts to detect buried bombs. The vibrations would form a subterranean image and would display on a screen attached to the controls of a ground robot.
