Tasmanian government to upgrade data centers

The Tasmanian Government is set to close one data centre and tender for a new facility as its current setup is over capacity. Department documents state that the majority of government equipment and data storage is located in small server rooms throughout various agency buildings. It also operates two small data centres, but these are both at capacity.
